LAUREN RUBINSKI

1. HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE JEWELRY INDUSTRY?
I have been obsessed with jewelry for as long as I can remember. When I was six years old, I would wear my mother’s and grandmother’s jewelry just to walk around the house - I loved playing dress up. I’ve always looked up to women who had impeccable style, but most of them simply had a great jewelry collection. Creating jewelry was a natural process for me, so making a career out of it came very naturally.

2. WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT JEWELRY?
Shapes, textures and infinite possibilities. The idea that one piece can be a reflection of your mood, your personality. I love that jewelry always tells a story. Some days it can be a nice one, and you will want to wear something bold, and others it will be a quiet story, and you will stand out with just one pinky ring.

My pieces are an extension of myself - they mirror my personality. I’m very outgoing, I love to engage, and I love to brighten people’s moods. I believe that what you wear sets the tone of a conversation.
